Case report: an individual observation, not an estimate of how well the treatment works for other patients.

Who was studied?

An 85-year-old woman with postoperative oligometastatic gallbladder adenosquamous carcinoma who declined chemotherapy.

What does the publication report?

Following SBRT, pembrolizumab and GM-CSF, PET/CT showed complete metabolic response at 6 months. Reported PFS was 25 months and OS 29 months; subsequent progression was fatal.

Safety findings

Grade 1 anemia and nausea and a grade 2 angioma-like rash were reported; no grade ≥3 toxicity was observed.

How should we interpret it?

A related triplet case, not a PRaG-series clinical trial. Metabolic remission is distinct from cure.
